3.5 Wavelength Calibration
This instrument has a built-in reference light source, and wavelength calibration is automatically
performed using this light source at 10-minute intervals. The auto wavelength calibration function
is turned on by factory default. You can also manually calibrate the wavelength at any time or
manually calibrate using an external light source.
Procedure
Auto Wavelength Calibration Using the Built-in Reference Light
Source
1.
Turn the power to the instrument ON.
Turn ON the
MAIN POWER
switch and press the
POWER
switch.
For instructions on turning the power ON and OFF, see section 3.3.
2.
Press the
SYSTEM
key. The SYSTEM menu is displayed.

Tap
Wavelength Calibration
.
4.
Tap
Auto WL Calibration
to select On. You can also tap the shortcut key at the bottom of the
screen.
5.
Tap Interval. The INTERVAL setting window appears.
6.
Enter the interval in the displayed window.
