INSTRUM ENT FUNCTIONS
INDICATOR LIGHTS
Turn indicator light “ ”
This indicator flashes w hen the turn
sw itch is m oved to the left or right.
Neutral indicator light “ ”
This indicator com es on w hen the trans-
m ission is in neutral.
High beam indicator light “ ”
This indicator com es on w hen the head-
light high beam is used.
Fuel indicator light “ ”
When the fuel level drops below approx-
im ately 5.5 L, this light w ill com e on.
When this light com es on, fill the fuel
tank at the first opportunity.

OIL LEVEL/ COOLANT TEM PERATURE WARNING LIGHT
This w arning light has tw o functions.
• The light w ill com e on and sym bol
“ ” w ill flash if the engine oil level is
low . If this sym bol flashes, stop the
engine im m ediately and fill it w ith oil
to the specified level.
• The light w ill com e on and sym bol
“ ” w ill flash if the coolant tem pera-
ture is too high. The follow ing chart
show s the conditions of the indicator
light, sym bol and tem perature display
in accordance w ith the coolant tem per-
ature.
ACHTUNG:
CAUTION:
• Do not run the motorcycle until you
know it has sufficient engine oil.
• Do not run the motorcycle if the
engine is overheated.
NOTE:
Even if the oil is filled to the specified
level, the w arning light m ay flicker w hen
riding on a slope or during sudden
acceleration or deceleration, but this is
norm al.
