3. M easure:

• brake disc thickness

M easure the brake disc thickness at a
few different locations.
Out of specification

Replace.

M in. brake disc thickness

Front: 4.5 mm
Rear: 4.5 mm

4. Adjust:

• brake disc deflection

a. Rem ove the brake disc.

b. Rotate the brake disc by one bolt

hole.

c. Install the brake disc.

NOTE:

Tighten the brake disc bolts in stages

and in a crisscross pattern.

d. M easure the brake disc deflection.

e. If out of specification, repeat the

adjustm ent steps until the brake disc
deflection is w ithin specification.

f. If the brake disc deflection cannot be

brought w ithin specification, replace
the brake disc.

made only w ith the outer race

Use a socket

that m atches the diam e-

ter of the w heel bearing outer race and
oil seal.
