REM OVING THE FRONT FORK LEGS

The follow ing procedure applies to both of
the front fork legs.

1. Stand the m otorcycle on a level surface.

WARNING

WARNING

Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.

NOTE:

Place the m otorcycle on a suitable stand
so that the front w heel is elevated.

2. Loosen:

• upper bracket pinch bolt

• cap bolt

• handlebar boss pinch bolt 

3

 

• low er bracket pinch bolts 

WARNING

WARNING

Before loosening the upper and low er
bracket pinch bolts and handlebar pinch
bolt, support the front fork leg.
