CHECKING THE WHEELS

WARNING

WARNING

After mounting a new  tire, ride conser-
vatively for a w hile to become accus-
tomed to the “feel” of the new  tire and
to allow  the tire to seat itself properly in
the rim. Failure to do so could lead to an
accident w ith possible injury to the rider
or damage to the motorcycle.

NOTE:

For tires w ith a direction of rotation
m ark

• Install the tire w ith the m ark pointing

in the direction of w heel rotation.

• Align the m ark
