TPS (throttle position sensor)

Inspection steps:

Disconnect the TPS (throttle position sensor)
coupler.

Remove the TPS (throttle position sensor) from
carburetor.

Connect the pocket tester (

1k) to the TPS

(throttle position sensor) couplers.

Tester (+) lead

Blue terminal 1

Tester (–) lead

Black / Blue terminal 2

Check the TPS (throttle position sensor) resis-
tance.

Out of specification

Replace the TPS (throttle

position sensor).

Connect the pocket tester (
