Connect the pocket tester to the fuse and
check it for continuity.

Set the tester selector to “

Ω

1”

Pocket tester:

If the tester indicates

, replace the fuse.

3. Replace:

Blown fuse

Replacement steps:

Turn off the ignition.

Install a new fuse of proper amperage.

Turn on the switches to verify operation of re-
lated electrical devices.

If the fuse immediately blows again, check the
electrical circuit.
