Starter cable holder 1

Cable guide 2

Handlebar holder (upper) 3 (with plugs)

Handlebar 4

5. Loosen:

Upper bracket pinch bolts 1

6. Remove:

Handle crown nut 2

Upper bracket 3

7. Adjust:

Steering head

Adjustment steps:

Remove the special washer 1 , ring nut (up-
per) 2 and rubber washer 3 .

Loosen the ring nut (lower) 4 .

Tighten the ring nut (lower) using the ring nut
wrench 5 .

Set the torque wrench to the ring nut wrench so
that they form a right angle.

Ring nut wrench:

90890-01403

Ring nut (initial tightening)

48 Nm (4.8 m

kg)

Loosen the ring nut (lower) 4 completely, then
retighten it to specification.

Ring nut (final tightening)

16 Nm (1.6 m

kg)

Do not overtighten.
