Power trim and tilt unit
Checking the power trim and tilt op-
eration
1. Fully tilt up and down the outboard motor
for several times to check the entire trim
and tilt range for smooth operation.
NOTE:
Make sure that you hear the smooth operating
sound of the power trim and tilt motor.
2. Fully tilt up the outboard motor, and sup-
port it with the tilt stop lever

that the locking mechanism works properly.
