Additional information:
(ATEX) The following specific conditions of
use apply.
- The equipment must be suitably earthed prior
to operation.
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the
equipment does not run dry. Any control
system used to achieve this must comply with
the relevant requirements of EN 80079-37.
- The equipment may only be operated when it
is filled with the liquid to be pumped.
- The liquid to be pumped must have
conductivity >1000 pS/m (CLC/TR 60079–32–
1:2015)
- For T4 operation the maximum temperature of
the liquid to be pumped must not exceed 90°C.

Handling and storage
2.1 Inspect the delivery
1.
Check the outside of the package for evident
signs of damage.
2. If the product bears visible signs of
damage, notify our distributor within
eight days from the delivery date.
Unpacking the unit
1. Follow applicable step:
-
If the unit is packed in a carton, then
remove the staples and open the carton.
-
If the unit is packed in a wooden crate,
then open the cover while paying
attention to the nails and straps.
2. Remove the securing screws or the straps from
the wooden base.
2.1.1
Inspection of the unit
1.
Remove the packaging material from the
product.
Dispose of all packing materials in accordance
with local regulations.
2. Inspect the product to determine if any parts
have been damaged or are missing.
3. If applicable, unfasten the product by removing
any screws, bolts, or straps.
4.
For your personal safety, be careful when you
handle nails and straps.
5. Contact the local sales representative if there is
any issue.
2.2 Guidelines for transport
Precautions
WARNING:

Observe the accident
prevention regulations in
force.

Risk of crushing. The unit and
the components can be
heavy. Implement proper
lifting methods and always
wear steel-capped boots.
Check the gross weight marked on the packaging in
order to choose suitable lifting equipment.
Installation and securing
The pump or pump unit can be transported only
horizontally. Make sure that the pump or pump unit
is securely fastened during transportation and
cannot roll or fall over.
WARNING:
Do not use eyebolts screwed on the
motor for handling the whole pump
unit.
Do not use the shaft end of the pump
or of the motor to move the pump, the
motor or the unit.
