Facility requirements
This variable speed drive is intended for a professional incorporation into complete
equipment or systems as part of a fixed installation. Close attention is required to system
design and electrical installation.
Check that the following requirements are met:
Environment
The drive must be protected from direct sunlight and from rainfall.
NOTICE:
The product is intended for indoor use only.
Altitude
The maximum altitude for non-manually de-rated operation is 1000 m (3281 ft).
The maximum altitude with UL approval is 2000 m (6562 ft).
The maximum altitude without UL approval is 4000 m (13 123 ft).

Humidity requirements
The relative humidity must not exceed 95%, non-condensing.
Air requirements
The air surrounding the unit must be free from:
• Excessive dust
• Acids
• Salt
The installation site must comply with the following pollution degree to be UL-compliant
IP20
Pollution degree 1
IP55, IP66
Pollution degree 2
Conformal coating is applied to meet IEC standard 60721–3–2, Class 3C2.
Install the drive on a wall
• The drive must be mounted in a vertical position using the integral holes.
• The support must be flat, flame-resistant, and vibration free.
