Clearing Document Feeder Jams 

To resolve the error that appears on the control panel, remove all paper from the Duplex Automatic 

Document Feeder areas. 
1.

 

Lift the lever, then open the top cover of the document feeder. 

 

2.

 

If the original document is clear of the automatic document feeder entry, pull it straight out in the 

direction shown. 

 

3.

 

If the control panel message instructs you to open the inner cover, lift the green-tabbed lever to 

open the inner cover.
