To scan or copy a
document, the
switch must be in
the unlock
position. If the
machine is not
being used for a
long period of
time, or being
moved, push the
switch to the lock
position (
).

Remove the shipping tape from
the front, back and sides of the
machine.

Remove the label completely
from the scanner module by
pulling it straight out, away from
the unit.
Make sure that the scan lock has
been moved to the unlock
position (
