Phaser 2135 Color Printer
Right-side door indicated being open when it is closed
1.
Inspect that the front door’s interlock for damage.
2.
Check the interlock switch for +32 V. Replace the switch if necessary.
3.
Check its wiring harness.
4.
Replace the engine controller board.
5.
Replace the power supply if +32 volts is not present.
High temperature error
1.
Check the fans for proper operation.
2.
Replace the low-voltage power supply unit.
3.
Replace the engine controller board.
Low temperature error
If the fuser is cold,

Ensure the fuser unit is properly installed.
5.
Check the fuser unit’s connection and wiring.
6.
Replace the fuser unit.
7.
Replace the low-voltage power supply.
8.
Replace the engine controller board.
If the fuser is hot,

Replace the fuser

Replace the engine controller board
Invalid memory DIMM
1.
Upon power-up, the system controller board checks each DIMM for
information such as data width, clock delay, number of address columns
and row, refresh rate and more. If the DIMM does not meets the required
specifications the printer displays an “Invalid memory DIMM” error
message and then continues the boot-up process.
