Configuration
110
Function relay 1: without function.
With
select desired function (see
below) for relay 1.
With
accept and go on to setting the
function for relay 2.
The relays 2 - 4 are configured as described above.
Selectable relay functions:
Function
Explanation
NO FUNCTION
Relay without function (ex-factory condition)
POWER FAIL
Contact is closed when the instrument is supplied with
power and opens with power failure
ERROR
becomes active with an instrument DEFECT
(no repair by customer possible!
ð
send instrument to WTW)
STOP
becomes active with frozen measured value - e.g.
during calibration
TIMER
becomes active in configured time intervals - works
regardless of the measured value as a pure timer
UL / LL
works as upper or lower limit contact and becomes
active if the set control point is overflown or underflown
Function as timer
The TIMER function can be assigned to each of the 4 relays.
As a timer the relay works completely independent of the measured value and continues working
during the calibration procedure when the measured value and other relay functions are frozen
(see also chapter "Calibration").
This operation mode can e. g. be used as "hand control" with self-defined times.
The times T 1 and T 2 are input in the parameterization level under "PARA TIMER".
Illustration of the timer function:
The time T 1
can be adjusted from 1 to 24 h
in steps of 1h
The time T 2
can be adjusted from 0.5 to 5 min
in steps of 0.5 min
(= 30 seconds).
During T 1 the relay is inactive,
during T 2 it is active.
