Cleaning the Burner

Manual cleaning is a simple process. Removal of the

firepot takes only a few minutes. Below is a step by

step process for burner removal. The burner and chim

-

ney should be cleaned twice a year.

WARNING: Before performing any of the following tasks, ensure that the power is disconnected from the

furnace and the burner, and that all components of the system have had ample time to cool.

Maintenance

Removal and Cleaning of the Burner

Disconnect the cables on the side of the burner.

Remove the auger tube from the burner chute. Re

-

move the four thumb screws that hold the cover on the

burner. Remove the cover.

Disconnect the air line from the air compressor by

pushing in the blue collar on the fitting, while pulling

out on the hose.

Release the quick latches that hold the sections togeth

-

er. Be careful as to not damage the gasket between the

sections.
