the machine and make sure everything is operating correctly. Place your Drafter on a flat,
level surface making sure that there is enough room behind and in front of the machine for
the bed assembly to reach full travel. Place the Power Supply Unit on a flat level surface
within reach of the printer where it is in an open space with adequate ventilation.
IMPORTANT: The Power supply must be placed on a flat surface in an open
area with sufficient ventilation during operation.
DO NOT
cover the PSU while in
operation or place the power supply where it can be accessible to small
children or household pets.
Re-Check that all stepper motors and the LCD module are plugged in correctly
Turn on the power supply at the wall and plug the other end into the Anderson connector on
the rear left corner of the machine. The fan on the front of the hot end and the fan on the
motherboard enclosure will start spinning and the following things should happen:

After a few seconds, the display will then change to the standard Marlin Interface screen. For
more information on what this screen shows and how to use the interface, please reference

The BLTouch module on the head of the printer will light up RED and the silver pin should drop
and retract Twice in a row. There will be a short pause, then it will drop and retract a Third
