Part 2 - Y Axis Assembly & Heated Bed

Fit the GT2 Y Belt Block to the underside of the Aluminium Bed Trolley using the M3 Bolts,
Washers and Nyloc Nuts as well as the 8mm Bearing Blocks using the M4 Bolts as per the
following images paying particular attention to the orientation of the block in relation to the
mounting holes in the trolley:
Take a moment to double check the tightness of the bolts holding the bearing blocks and
GT2 Belt Block in place. They must be tight in order to avoid any slop in the Y Axis. Also
double check that there are no sharp edges remaining on the Bed Trolley.
Lay the Y Axis Bed Assembly down on it’s face with the bearing blocks and Belt Block facing
upward. With a clean cloth, wipe down the two 8mm Smooth Rods to ensure that there is no
debris present and that they are in good clean condition. Gently feed each of the smooth
rods through the bearing blocks and fit a Y Rod Bracket to each end of both rods, as per the
following image:
