Parameter
Description
Register/End
register
MODBUS registers into which the value is mapped.
Long Tag
Long Tag of the device
HART 5 devices and older devices do not support long tags. For those devices, the
WirelessHART adapter uses the content of the
Message
field, which will be displayed here
instead.
Card
Virtual I/O card number to which the device is mapped to.
For more information, see chapter 2.1.3.
Channel
Channel of the virtual I/O card the device is mapped to. The value
0
identifies a WirelessHART
device or a WirelessHART adapter, while the value
1
identifies a wired device connected to a
WirelessHART adapter.
For more information, see chapter 2.1.3.
Value
Indicates the value that is read from the device and mapped to the MODBUS registers.
The
Input Status
submenu enables you to map the following values:
■
Lower Significant Byte
: If you select
Lower Significant Byte
, enter a response byte as
well.
■
Most Significant Byte
: If you select
Most Significant Byte
, enter a response byte as well.
The
Input Register
submenu enables you to map the following values:
■
Loop Current
■
Percent Range
■
PV
: HART primary variable
■
SV
: HART secondary variable
■
TV
: HART tertiary variable
■
QV
: HART quaternary variable
■
Device Variable
: The device variable provides device-specific information. This information
is displayed using a device-specific unit code.
For more information on what device-specific information is available and on the device-
specific unit codes, see the manual of the sub-device.
■
Battery Life
■
Slot 0 Data Time Stamp
: Time stamp calculated by the device for the slot 0 returned
through CMD 9. Whenever the gateway receives a response/burst of CMD 9, it updates that
mapped value.
■
Device Status
For more information, see chapter 12.1.
■
Extended Device Status
For more information, see chapter 12.1.
■
Device Status & Extended Device Status
■
CMD 48 Device Status
If you select
CMD 48 Device Status
, specify a response byte as well.
For more information, see chapter 12.1.
■
State Variables:
: Discrete state variables. The packed variables can be mapped on the input
status.
■
PV Stale Status
■
SV Stale Status
■
TV Stale Status
■
QV Stale Status
■
PV Percentage Age
■
SV Percentage Age
■
TV Percentage Age
■
QV Percentage Age
■
Device Variable Status
: HART status of indexed device variable as returned by the device.
■
All CMD 48 Device States
■
Modbus Status
For more information, see chapter 12.2.
