To carry out a new reference measurement, place the object to be measured in front of the Coat-­‐
Master’s measurement window and click
Add . A dialog appears to enter the coating thickness value
of the same object determined with a comparative measurement method (e.g. wedge cut).
NOTICE
The field can be left empty until a reference measurement of the recently measured object is possible
(e.g. after drying or curing). As long as no reference value is entered, the application cannot be used
for routine sample measurement.
Click OK to carry out a CoatMaster meaurement.
Add a reference measurement for all calibration samples. After the reference coating thickness was
entered and OK was clicked the calibration process is started. The result is shown in a report.
