5.4.2 Lubricate the Drive Screw 

This section describes how to lubricate the Drive Screw. The Drive Screw should be lubricated 
every 500 cycles. 

 

Equipment Damage!

 Do not substitute any grease for the Will-Burt drive screw lubricant  

(P/N: 4288601). This is a super-premium aerospace grade product and is required for specified 
performance and life. 

 

Lubricate the Drive Screw as follows: 

1.  Charge the Grease Gun that shipped with the Mast System with a cartridge of Drive 

Screw Lubricant (P/N: 4288601). Drive Screw Lubricant can be ordered separately from 
The Will-Burt Company. 

2.  Fully extend the mast. 

3.  Remove the hex-shaped access plug from the grease port on the side of the Base Tube 

(Figure 5-1).
