Motor 

The Motor is used, in powered operation, to rotate the Drive Screw. When power is removed 
from the Motor, the spring-loaded brake is applied. The brake is always on when power is 
removed from the system in order to prevent the mast from back driving. 

Mast Drive Housing 

The Mast Drive Housing: 

•

  Contains the gear drive 

•

  Has connectors for the Mast Sensor Cable and the Fully Extended Limit Switch Cable 

(Section 1.7.1.8) 

•

  Contents can be accessed for maintenance and repair through the Cover Plate. Only 

appropriate trained repair and service personnel permitted.
