8.3.
Clamping elements
In order to warrant a long lifetime, regularly clean and grease the threaded spindles and joints for the
clamping of the work pieces.
8.4.
Planer
Check the planer blade on its ability to cut, replace if required (double sided polished section, max. chip
thickness = 0,2 mm!)
In order to change the chain tension shift planer to the fore entirely when the machine is switched off.
Remove cover on the heating element side. In case the chain is too loose, release the chain tensioning
bolt and shift it slightly within the oblong hole until the chain is tensioned sturdily.
Then tighten the bolt again and mount cover.
8.5.
How to check the oil level / how to refill
Check oil level every week.
Unscrew and put out the red closing screw with integrated dipstick
Clean dipstick and dip it in the tank again.
The oil level must absolutely be between the two marks
If necessary, refill oil, into the oil filler neck of the oil tank.
Subsequently shut tank.
Screw to tension the chain.
The chain should be tensioned hand-tight.
