 Platinum Split

Platinum Split Wiring 115V with Cold Weather Start Kit

Inside AKA4457 Electrical Boxes

Compressor Contactor (Magnecraft Relay) VWC P/N 1-141120 

Purpose- Cycle power between the crank case heater and 

compressor, as needed. Crank case will be turned on, and 

compressor will be turned off when the low pressure switch is 

open. Compressor will be turned on, and crank case heater will 

be turned off when the low pressure switch is closed.

Enclosed power relay 30a,24vac, spst VWC P/N 1-141122 

Purpose: receives 

control voltage from air handler, and sends power to the bypass timer.

Standard Electrical box

Cold Weather Start Kit Box

(Magnecraft Relay) VWC P/N 1-141120 

Purpose- to assist in 

the start of the unit.

Bypass Timer VWC P/N 1-230608 

Purpose- To bypass the low pressure switch and 

send power to the compressor for 1000 seconds, then will disengage. The low pressure 

switch will make within that time period and keep the compressor running if the unit is 

still calling for cooling

.
