INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
If the soundome is too high or too low, go
back to the hoist assembly.
Loosen the top hoist clamp and the safety clamp.
Raise or lower the soundome according to your
measurement.
Align the soundome so that the mark you made
on the tube points aft.
After positioning the soundome tube, tighten
the top hoist clamp and the safety clamp.
5.0 POWER TO THE RAM HOIST
Connect power to the Junction Box.
The power source for the hoist system does
not have to be the same as the power source
for the console.
Route the hoist power cable through one of the
small strain reliefs in the bottom of the
Junction Box.
For DC hoist, attach positive [+] lead to
Terminal 30, and negative (-) to Terminal
31.
Be sure of correct polarity.
6.0 SOUNDOME WIRING
Route the soundome cable through one of the
large strain reliefs in the bottom of the
Junction Box.
Connect the numbered lugs of the soundome to
the same numbered terminals on the Hoist Board
in the Junction Box.
Place the urethane strain relief on top of the
soundome.
7.O RAM HOIST OPERATION
CHECK
The 8-inch soundome must travel 28cm (11
inches) up or down when operated. See Page 2-
21, #5.
