DO NOT taper the fairing to the hull (this
will drag air bubbles into the soundbeam).
Run metal rods or plates cut at a 45 degree
angle from the fairing to the hull to pre·
vent hang-ups on wire rope or debris.
Cover the bottom of the fairing around the
seachest. This will help prevent turbulence
caused by open cavities.
