5.0 DISPLAY MONITOR VOLTAGE
If
your vessel does not have the correct
voltage to operate a separate display
monitor, an inverter or converter is required.
For example, if your monitor requires 115VAC,
and your vessel has 24VDC, use a 24VDC to
115VAC inverter. Converters and inverters
are available from WESMAR.
Do not mount the inverter or converter
directly next to the console or display moni-
tor.
This will introduce ripple on the monitor
screen. Also, the inverter or converter must
be mounted in a location where air circula-
tion is adequate.
6.0 CONNECTING THE
INTERCONNECT CABLE
Route the interconnect cable from the console
to the hoist assembly.
Follow these precautions:
•
Do not run the cable near heat sources
or electric motors
•
Route the cable through conduit in
areas where it may be damaged
•
Do not bend the interconnect cable into
a radius less than 10cm (4 inches)
NOTE: Wrap the interconnect cable terminal
lugs in paper and seal with tape to
protect
them from damage when
stringing the cable through cable
runs.
Route the interconnect cable through one of
the large strain reliefs in the bottom of the
Junction Box.
Connect the numbered lugs of the intercon-
nect cable to the same numbered terminals on
the Hoist Board.
Plug the interconnect cable connector into the
matching connector on the back panel of the
console.
