CAREFULLY INSERT SCREWDRIVER TIP BETWEEN TAB AND INSIDE OF THE CASE

TIONER SIDE DOWN. PRESS WITH THE THUMB OF YOUR LEFT HAND
AGAINST THE TOP OF THE INSTRUMENT (PRACTITIONER’S SIDE) WHILE
GENTLY FORCING THE PATIENT SIDE COVER TOWARDS YOUR LEFT HAND.
THIS WILL UN-LATCH THE TOP OF THE INSTRUMENT CASES. (SEE CASE
LATCH DETAIL ON ASSEMBLY DRAWING).
LAY THE HANDLE DOWN AS SHOWN AND PRESS WITH LEFT THUMB AND PUSH AS
SHOWN.

INSERT YOUR FINGER IN BETWEEN THE PUMP TOP PAD AND THE CASE TO
SEPARATE THESE TWO ITEMS AS THIS WILL GREATLY EASE DISASSEM-
BLY. CAREFULLY PULL THE HOUSINGS APART AT THE TOP WHILE STOP-
PING FREQUENTLY TO VISUALLY CHECK THE FLEX CABLE.

3. REMOVE CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY.
CHECK TO SEE IF THE HOSE BETWEEN THE RESONATOR AND THE PROBE
TIP WAS PINCHED BY THE HOUSING DURING PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY. IF
THE HOSE WAS PINCHED, WORK THE KINK OUT SO THAT AIR CAN PASS
THROUGH. (IF THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM, REASSEMBLE
BEING CAREFUL NOT TO KINK THE HOSE AND TRY THE UNIT.)
