M I C R O T Y M P 1 T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G
Problem: Dead printer/charger (LED is not lit)
Possible causes: 1. Blown fuse
2. Wire not fastened securely in terminal block.
Repair:
1. CAUTION: Prior to doing any work:
Unplug power cord
Use grounding mat and grounding strap.
2. Remove bottom plate by unscrewing 4 screws.
3. Check to see that the fuses are not blown. If unsure, remove and check with an ohm meter. If
blown (i.e. overload reading on the ohm meter) replace them. Assemble stand and check.
4. Check to see that the wires (black and white or blue, grn/yel and brown) from the power cord
are tightly fastened into the terminal block. If they are, go on to the next step. If they are not,
with the wires in place tighten the screws in the terminal block that correspond to those wires
(see fig. below). Replace bottom plate and check.
