M I C R O T Y M P 1 T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G
Problem:
Buttons Stick
Possible Causes:
1. Button soldered to circuit board crooked
2. Interference between button and switch
Repair
1. CAUTION:
Prior to doing any work:
Unplug power cord
Use grounding mat and grounding strap
2. Disassemble stand to step #3 (removing the top housing, page 5).
3. Check to see that the black switches are soldered flush to the board.
4. If they are crooked (See fig below), heat up solder on the 2 pins and straighten.
5. If switches are ok, the white print and feed buttons need to be replaced. To do this pull them
straight off and replace them as shown in the figure below.
6. Assemble stand and check operation.
