Removing Controllers from the Network

Use the following procedure to remove
secondary controllers from a network
where Houseport
®
is the primary
controller.
Houseport
®
can either be in
Design
or
Control
operation. For this section on
network setup make sure that Houseport
®
is set for
Design
operation.
Design
operation is indicated when the window is
outlined in a yellow and black construction
tape border.
It is best practice to remove a secondary
controller from your network prior to re-
setting it when it is no longer needed or if the
secondary controller is to be reset for any
reason.
1. Click on the Remove Module button in the
tool bar. A message window will ask you to
press the button on the module to remove.
2. Activate the RePLICATIoN ReCeIVe mode
on your Secondary Controller. This option
may also be referred to as JoIN NeTWoRk or
RePLICATIoN ReCeIVe mode.
