Operation
Use the following procedures for
controlling Z-Wave
®
modules
individually. For more advanced
control functions please see
the section titled “Creating/
Modifying Schedules”, page 20
-21. and “Creating/Modifying
Scenes”, page 18 -19.
Houseport
®
can either be in
Design
or
Control
operation.
Houseport
®
must be set to
Control
operation mode to
control modules. In
Control
operation the window does
NOT have a yellow and black
construction tape border.
1. Hovering the mouse over the
icon for a module will cause it to
grow larger. This allows you to see
more detail about the current state
of the module and to easily focus
on one module if there are number
of them in a group in the plan
view. The text below the icon shows
the current state of the module.
2. To control a specific Z-Wave
®
module simply click on its icon.
The appropriate controls for the
module type will appear. For
example with a dimmable lamp
module slider appears to set its
dim level. Click on the slider and
move it to the desired level and
release the button. The lamp will be
adjusted the set level.
