Use the following procedure to
create or add Scenes and Zones
in Houseport
®
.
Houseport
®
can either be in
Design
or
Control
operation.
Houseport
®
must be set for
Design
operation mode to create scenes
Design
operation is indicated
when the window is outlined in
a yellow and black construction
tape border.
1. Select the Z-Wave
®
modules you
want in your scene. You select the
first module by clicking on it with
the mouse. Then add the other
modules to the selection by holding
down the shift key while clicking.
Alternatively you can click in an area
of the plan that does not contain
anything (room or module) and drag
out a rectangular selection area. All
modules that are touched by the
rectangle will be selected.
2. Click on the plus (+) button below
the Scene list to create the new
scene with the selected modules.
3. The newly created scene will
appear in the list with its title
selected and ready to edit to an
appropriate name.
4. Click on the triangle next to the
new scenes name to show the list of
Z-Wave
®
modules in the scene. The
pre-set scene value for each module
is listed next to its name.
