In this example, the PIR will not trigger. This is because the two pulse
counts aren’t for two separate zones.
2.2.4 Wireless Panic Buttons
This section shows you how to install wireless panic buttons (WPANIC) for your system.

If your system came with wireless panic buttons, they should already be learnt into the
Main Control
Unit
. No further set-up is required.

If you have purchased additional panic buttons, you will need to learn them into the
Main Control Unit
.
Follow the
Set-up and learn-in a panic button
procedure for each of the panic buttons that you have.
a) Set-up and learn-in a panic button
Open the panic button, and set the dipswitches to a random combination.
Close the panic button.
Set the dipswitches on the
Main Control Unit
to the zone you wish to learn
the panic button into.
Press and release the ADD button on the
Main Control Unit
. Press and hold
down the panic button until the
Main Control Unit
beeps. It will beep a
number of times corresponding to the zone you have learnt it in to.
Set the dipswitches back to OFF
