Stitch length
Besides the selection of a pattern, the
appearance also varies by setting different
stitch lengths.
Useful settings of patterns and stitch lengths
can be found in the table with an overview of
patterns (page 28/29).

Stitch length setting
(without super utility stitches)
• No material is fed in the setting “0”.
• The higher the set number the longer the
stitch length.
• The numbers on the stitch length dial
indicate the stitch length in millimetres.
• The symbol
must be set on the stitch
length dial for sewing buttonholes and
decorative stitches (narrow zigzag
stitch).

Stitch length selection for super

In order to sew a super utility stitch (bottom
row), the symbol must be set at the stitch
length dial.
If the marking is directly above the symbol
, the standard version of the super utility
stitch is sewn.
The pattern is enlarged (stretched) with “+”
and made smaller (compressed) with “-”.
