If the O-ring sealing cord appears damaged or if the sealing effect of the O-ring
is reduced, it must be replaced immediately with a new one. Damage to the O-
ring may occur if sharp cleaning items are used improperly. Abrasive fillers in 3D
printing material can also lead to increased wear of the sealing cord. Perform the
following steps to replace the O-ring sealing:
1.
[Step A] Removing the Top Part (follow cleaning instructions)

The metal frame construction of the PowerVat has been designed to guarantee
years of operation with the least possible wear. Only the film

is a wearing part
and therefore it has to be checked regularly for signs of wear and defects (e.g.
cracks). A visual check of the film before each printing process is recommended.
In case of misprints (layers of printed objects sticking to the film), a thorough check
of the film condition is strongly recommended. Please note that the film has to be
changed before defects occur to avoid damage on the vat parts or the printer.
Caution:
Before each print job, please make sure that the PowerVat
(especially the film) are in perfect condition. Do not use a damaged vat, as
otherwise material could leak into the interior of the SolFlex Printer. In case
