[Step E] Assembling the Film
Important:
In the gap between the film and the glass plate any dust
particles, grease residues, detergent residues etc. must be avoided. Avoid
dusty environments and always use rubber gloves during installation of the
film as dust particles, fingerprints, grease or other contaminants could
otherwise be deposited between the film and the glass.
Make sure that there are no contaminants on the film or the glass before installing
the film

. If necessary, the film and glass surface
can be cleaned with isopropanol or glass cleaner and paper towels (free of grease
and dust). Dust grains can be "stamped away" with adhesive tape that can be
detached without residue. Use suitable lighting (e.g. a backlight setup) to ensure
that there are no dust particles or contaminants between the film and the glass
plate before proceeding with the assembly.
