Wiper blades: Checking park position,
adjusting if necessary
Windscreen of LHD vehicles:
– Check park position.
The distance -A- between wiper blade and lower edge of wind‐
screen must be 9 mm.
The distance -B- between wiper blade and lower edge of wind‐
screen must be 12 mm.
– If necessary, adjust park position by loosening cone and mov‐
ing wiper arm.
Wiper arm tightening torque: 32 Nm
Windscreen of RHD vehicles:
– Check park position.
The distance -A- between wiper blade and lower edge of wind‐
screen must be 12 mm.
The distance -B- between wiper blade and lower edge of wind‐
screen must be 44 mm.
– If necessary, adjust park position by loosening cone and mov‐
ing wiper arm.
Wiper arm tightening torque: 32 Nm
Rear window:
– Check park position.
The distance -a- between wiper blade and lower edge of window
must be 55 mm (measured from glass lower edge).
– Adjust park position by moving wiper arm if necessary. Wiper
arm tightening torque: 12 Nm

Wiper blade protection: Remove
Currently there are three versions to separate the wiper blade
protection from the wiper blade or to exchange a transport wiper
arm.
