– Unclip solenoid changeover valve -1-.

– Loosen filler cap -2- e.g. using an appropriate combination

spanner or socket.

Note

Before draining or extracting release sealing cap, so that the en‐

gine oil can flow out of filter housing.

– Clean sealing surfaces on threaded cap and oil filter housing.

Installing
– Renew filter element -3-.
– Renew O-rings -2 and 4-.

– Install threaded cap and tighten to 25 Nm.
Further assembly is basically a reverse of the dismantling se‐

quence. Ensure that the solenoid change-over valve -1- audibly

engages.
