For illustration purposes, the markings on intermediate shaft
sprocket/balancer shaft are shown with the chain removed.
Further assembly is basically the reverse of the dismantling se‐
quence. In the process, note the following:
– Install camshaft timing chain
⇒ page 76 .
– Install timing chain cover (bottom) ⇒ page 67 .
– Install timing chain cover (top) ⇒ page 67 .
– Install tensioner for poly V-belt ⇒ page 21 .
– Install poly V-belt ⇒ page 22 .
– Fit engine guard, if available ⇒ Body, front; Rep. gr. 50 ; En‐
gine guard .
