connection
DANGER
Work on electrical installations or operational equipment is only to be
performed by qualified electricians or by trained staff under the guidance and
supervision of a qualified electrician according to electro-technical regulations
and the legal provisions of the respective country.
WARNING
Before starting to work on the way valve ensure that hydraulic and electrical
supply systems have been disconnected and secured against accidental
switching on while working.
NOTICE
Signal and supply lines provided by the customer to the way valve need to be
shielded and laid separately from each other.
The customer has to connect (at the feed-in point) the screens to the junction
box (see Fig. 7). On completion of the installation, close the junction box.
When connecting the customer's lines, please avoid that the lines run in
parallel to the lines of the converter equipment.
Poor connecting points do not guarantee a reliable operation of the way valve.
Connect the lines with suitable flat-pin plugs according to the wiring diagram
(see Chapter 10).
On completion of the installation, close the junction box.
Check all fittings and covers.
The possible separate disconnection of the 24 VDC supply voltage (power) from
the power module allows switching off the magnetic force independent of the
position control. Thus, hydraulic outlet A is fast and safely connected to tank
return line T. As the 24 VDC (control) power supply is maintained, the actual
value remote indication is also maintained.
If only a single supply voltage is used, the two supply voltage inputs 24VDC
(power) and 24DC (control) are to be connected in a parallel arrangement on
both the plus-connection as well as on the minus-connection.
Connect the way valve according to the wiring diagram (see Chapter 10)
