21. Multi-viewer application
Through the combination of PIP/POP, 1/3:2/3 POP and 3/4 split view function, G904 can serve as multi-
viewer to display up to 7 images in one monitor. Standard 3 equal windows or quad windows multi-
viewer in one monitor are standard applications in G904. User can use multiple units of G904 to create
more MultiViewer applications, such as 6 split views, 9 split views and 16 split views in one monitor.
21.1. Two 3 split views & [SBS 2/1] in two UHD monitors
Each channel in G904 can create one 3 split views for one UHD monitor by input 3 signal sources. By
using two channels can create two 3 split views for two UHD monitors from one G904. The rest two
channels can be reserved for another application. After apply image rotation, the monitor can be
located at landscape or portrait position. The aspect ratio in each split view can also be adjusted
through Overlap function under PIP/POP menu.
Below is the connection to build two 3 split views for two UHD monitor with 2 channels in G904.

Three signal sources are connected to CH1 HDMI-1, HDMI-2 and HDMI-3, then implement 3 split
view for one UHD monitor.

User can connect another 3 input sources into CH-3 or CH-4, then implement 3 split views for
another UHD monitor.
➢
CH-2 & CH-3 can be used for another application. If the outputs from CH-1 & CH-4 are
connected to CH-2 or CH-4, user can apply T/B to get 6 split views in one UHD monitor.
