Following this the
Main Menu
screen is displayed.

The current time and date are displayed on the
Main Menu
screen as a
visual check that there are correctly set. This is important as the time and
date are required for the
Reading
and
Timer
options to function correctly.
Note
: If the unit clock is not set, the time and date are displayed in
Red
and
the
Reading
and
Timer
options are disabled until the clock is set.
To set the clock, press the
Set-up
options button followed by the
Date/Time
button. See Section 6.7.1 for more details.
