www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature.
ATTENTION!
The convention fan-heater is intended
only for additional heating of rooms. It is not meant
for operation as main heating unit.
•
Unpack the unit.
•
Make sure that the operation mode switch (5)
is set to the position “
0
” (the unit is switched
off).
SETTING
Option 1 – Stand mode
•
Turn the unit over. Combine openings on the
support plates (1) with wheels with relevant
openings in the lower part of the convection
fan-heater body (pic.1).
•
Fix the support plates (1) with wheels using
screws for fastening the support plates (pic. 2).
•
Turn the unit over and set it on the wheels.
Option 2 – Wall mounting
Attention!
Before drilling a hole in the wall,
make sure that there is no electrical wiring at
this place.
•
When mounting the unit on the wall, ensure
that the mains socket is below the level of
the unit and easy to access. Keep the follow-
ing gaps: between floor and unit – not less
than 15 cm, between front / upper panels
and objects – not less than 45 cm, between
side panels and objects – not less than 25
cm (pic. 7).
•
Support plates (1) with wheels are not used for
wall mounting of the convection fan-heater.
•
First mark holes on the wall (pic. 3).
•
Drill the holes in the wall to the required depth.
•
Insert the dowels into the drilled holes (pic. 4)
and fix screws for mounting the convection
fan-heater (pic.5).
•
Hang the convection fan-heater (pic.6) using
wall brackets (6) on the back side of the unit.
Using the convection fan-heater
•
Before switching the unit on, make sure that
your home mains voltage corresponds to the
unit operating voltage, and the switch (5) is in
the position “
0
” (the unit is switched off).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
•
Select the required convection fan-heater
operation mode using the switch (5):
–
I
– minimum heating power,
–
II
– maximum heating power.
Note:
–
Model VT- 2171 has the operation mode
switch (5) with only two positions -“ I/O”.
Power capacity for models of сonvection
fan-heaters:
VT-2171 –
I
– 1000 W
VT-2172 –
I
– 750 W–
II
– 1500 W
VT-2174 –
I
– 900 W –
II
– 2000 W
•
The indicator (3) will light up.
•
You may set the required room air heating level
from minimum to maximum value (
MIN
/
MAX
)
by turning the temperature control knob (4).
•
When the room temperature reaches the
required value, slowly turn the tempera-
ture control knob (4) counterclockwise until
the indicator (3) goes out. The preset tem-
perature will be maintained automatically.
If the room temperature is lower than the
temperature set by the temperature con-
trol knob (4), the unit will be switched to the
heating mode. When the preset tempera-
ture is reached, the unit will be switched to
the standby mode, once the air in the room
cools down, the unit will be switched to the
heating mode again.
