Gateway
The Gateway address, or Default Gateway, is a router interface connected to the Local or Wide Area
Network (LAN or WAN) used to send packets from the LAN. The Gateway Address that is displayed for
the HDR-5000 can be modified, when DHCP Enable is not selected. Click within the address field and
type the value of the address that you want to modify or enter. Modify the Gateway address to match
settings provided by your network administrator. Click the
Save Changes
button to retain the IP Address.
DNS Server 1 & 2
When
DHCP Enable
is selected, the primary and secondary Domain Name Server IP addresses are
displayed for the HDR-5000. The DNS cannot be modified when DHCP is enabled. When DHCP Enable
is not selected (Off), you can modify the Domain Name Server address to match settings provided by
your network administrator. Click
Save Changes
to retain the newly selected IP Addresses.
3.10 Support
HDR-5000 Support tab provides a means to locate information for your HDR-5000 that a LiveGear
support expert will use as a reference to get started alleviating any issues you may encounter. The HDR-
5000 Support tab also includes HDR-5000 system and software upgrade page. Refer to the sample Web
pages shown below.
