3.4.3 BDC
The Block Downconverter section of the Presets page displays the BDC name, model, frequency range
and local oscillator frequency. The BDC parameters for the preset can be edited in the BDC Web
interface page under the Edit BDC Definition section. Within the Presets page, you can use the Select
BDC drop-down to select existing BDC configurations. The Local Oscillator (LO) frequency (in MHz), is
unique for each BDC. There exist three default BDC parameters from which to choose:
S-Band-2GHz
BDC
C2-Band-4GHz
BDC
C4-Band-6GHz
BDC
3.4.5 Channel
The Channel section of the Presets page displays the Channel name. The Channel parameters for the
preset can be edited in the Channel Plan Web interface page under the Edit/Copy/Delete Channel Plans
section. Within the Presets page, you can use the Select Channel drop-down to select existing Channel
configurations.
3.4.6 Encryption
The Encryption section of the Presets page displays the Encryption name and Mode. The Encryption
parameters for the preset can be edited in the Encryption Web interface page under the Edit Encryption
Definition section. Within the Presets page, you can use the Select Encryption drop-down to select
existing Channel configurations.
3.4.7 TSoIP1 and 2 Configuration
The
Transport Stream over Internet Protocol
(TSoIP) sets the destination of the video signal across
the IP network. The TSoIP parameters can be set in the TSoIP Endpoint Web interface. The primary and
the secondary TSoIP settings that you can view are as follows:
TSoIP Name
The TSoIP Name can be set in the TSoIP Endpoint page. You name the unique primary and the
secondary TSoIP.
Destination
The Destination IP address is also set in the TSoIP Endpoint page. When you define a port, this will be
shown in the IP address.
FEC Enable
FEC Enable is also set in the TSoIP Endpoint page. When you enable Forward Error Correction, this will
be indicated.
Select TSoIP
The Select TSoIP drop-down menu appears when a TSoIP Endpoint is enabled. You can disable the
TSoIP for one or both of the primary or the secondary TSoIP Endpoints.
For each preset, there exist three buttons from which to select at the bottom of the page. You can choose
the
Restore Factory Defaults
button, to modify a preset with those parameter values set by the
firmware. You may also choose
Delete
to remove a preset or
Save Changes
, to retain the settings for a
new or modified preset.
