3.8 TSoIP
Endpoint
The Transport Stream over Internet Protocol (TSoIP) sets the destination of the video signal across the IP
network and the HDR-5000 will stream Video over IP based on its settings. The TSoIP settings that you
can control are as follows:
Encapsulation Type: UDP or RTP
RTP Only settings:
Forward Error Correction (FEC) Enable: choice of On or OFF
FEC Number of columns: 1-20 columns
FEC Number of rows: 4-20 rows
Stream Enable: choice of On or Off
Destination IP: IP address of the intended or target receiver
UDP Port: Defines the port address of the intended receiver.

3.8.1 Edit Transport Stream over IP (TSoIP) Definition
The
Edit TSoIP Definition
provides a means to select
the
Transport Stream over IP parameters when
you use the drop-down menu. You can also click the
Create New
button to set up an alternate target IP
address and port via UDP or RTP to send video signals across the IP network.
3.8.2 Parameters
The Parameters section provides the following entry fields when you choose the Create New option:
Target IP—The address for the transport stream.
Target Port—The port for the transport stream.
Protocol—UDP or RTP
FEC Rows—The number of rows (4-20)
FEC Columns—The number of columns (1-20)
FEC Enable—Forward Error Correction Enable allows selection of either On or Off and the
selection of FEC rows and columns.
The
Delete TSoIP
button deletes the displayed endpoint and
Save Changes
allows you to save any
modifications.
