6. MOUNTING THE CUTTING TOOL
Check that the trimmer is disconnected from the
mains.
• The mortising trimmer is supplied with a 16 mm diameter bit
mounted on the end of the spline shaft.
To change the bit, lock the spline shaft by its planes with key "E"
(Fig. 2), unscrew the bit "G" with key "F" and replace with one of
the required diameter.
7. SWITCH
• Cut-out box (Fig. 3) is equipped with lever "Y" for starting up
the machine and lateral fixing stop "Z". To start it up, activate
fixing stop "Z" and, without releasing it, push forward lever "Y",
thus keeping the machine running.
When lever "Y" is pushed forward with the machine running,
stop "Z" loosens automatically and the machine comes to a halt.
The switch's fixing stop "Z" prevents the machine from starting
up accidentally.
8. ADJUSTING THE TRIMMING WIDTH
• Measure the widest point, "N", of the lock box, including any
protuberance it may have (Fig. 4). DO NOT INCLUDE the exterior
decorative face of the lock.
Check that the trimmer is disconnected from the
mains.
• Place a mortising trimmer bit of the measurement taken or
slightly larger, according to the instructions in section 6.

13. REALIZZAZIONE DEI FORI PER LA MANIGLIA E LA CHI-
AVE
• Per finire, con l’aiuto della dima UT16I fornita a corredo, è
possibile eseguire i fori necessari al montaggio della serratura,
oltre ai fori per la maniglia, per il nottolino di chiusura, per il
cilindretto della chiave, etc.
MONTAGGIO DELL’UTENSILE DELLA DIMA
UC16I
• Inserire un’asta di altezza smontabile (fornita
a corredo) nei fori “A” e far scorrere l’utensile
fino a posizionare lo "0" di riferimento sul cen-
tro “c” della scatola della serratura. (Fig. 19).
• Fissare con la manopola "B" e contempo-
raneamente livellare il lato interno "C" della
sagoma in lamierino sullo spigolo della porta.
(Fig. 19).
DISPOSIZIONE DELL’UTENSILE E PERFORA-
ZIONE
• Allentare la boccola guida "G" e farla scorre-
re orizzontalmente fino a posizionare l'indice
"H" in corrispondenza della misura "D", strin-
gerlo nuovamente. (Fig. 20).
• Prendendo come riscontro il centro “c”
dell’incavo della serratura, fare scorrere
l’utensile in senso verticale fino a posizionarlo
sulla misura “E” e “F” desiderata. (Fig. 20)
• Dopo aver determinato la posizione del foro,
trapanare con una punta di 11 mm di diame-
tro.
• Prendendo nuovamente come riscontro il
centro"c" dell'incavo della serratura si potrà
determinare l'altro foro necessario per la se-
rratura.
