5. Flare the pipe bends on their open end and secure
connection piece (twin connector) with union nuts.
Note
■ Flare the pipe end of the hot gas line by
approx. 0.5 mm.
■ Connection pieces must not be skewed. Check
the flared connections for firm seating.

Slide the supplied union nuts (

lines from the outdoor unit.
■
Flare the refrigerant lines from the outdoor unit.
■
Connect the supplied reducers with copper
sealing ring to the connection pieces (twin
connectors).
■
Secure the refrigerant lines from the outdoor unit
to the reducers using the union nuts.
Type AWT/AWT-AC 221.A05 to A13, 221.B10 to
B16

Slide the supplied union nuts (

line,

UNF for hot gas line) over the refrigerant
lines from the outdoor unit.
■
Flare the refrigerant lines from the outdoor unit.
■
Secure the refrigerant lines from the outdoor unit
to the connection pieces using the union nuts.
Tighten the nuts with the following torque:
