ADJUSTMENT OF THE FEED DOG POSITION INSIDE THE STITCH PLATE

ADJUSTMENT OF THE FEED DOG POSITION INSIDE THE STITCH PLATE

Activate the

ADJUSTMENT WIZARD

(see 02.01. / Page 19).

The pedal is blocked. While

turning by hand the display shows the

machine position in degrees. Stitch

length is set to

0mm

Loosen screw

and screws

While screwing the feed dog with its screws make sure that they are in the middle of their

hole.

Tighten the stitch plate to the machine.

By using the mechanical handwheel, turn the needle bar with the gauge pin

, downwards

into the needle hole.

Move the feed dog carrier

to position the gauge pin

exactly in the middle of

the needle hole.

Make sure that the feed dog is not touching the stitch plate. Tighten screws

and

» Confirm to proceed to the next step.

NOTE:

At stitch length

the feed dog should be positioned in the middle of the hole in both direc-

tions, as shown in image 3.
